Patients who are between 16 - 75 and have not been seen for 3years or more can request a consultation. Consultations are generally by appointment. We offer over 300 routine appointments each week.
We hold an open surgery every weekday morning for those patients who are unable to wait for the next available evening appointment with a Doctor. Please telephone the surgery at 8.00 on the day you wish to attend the Open Surgery, appointments will be issued on a first come first served basis.
If you want to see a Doctor of your choice then you will need to make an afternoon or evening appointment. Appointments can be made up to one week in advance.
How to Make an Appointment
Please call at reception or telephone during surgery opening hours only. As Monday morning is the busiest time of the week, please avoid telephoning then for queries or results. It is usually much easier to telephone the surgery late afternoon or in the afternoon.
Please make it clear if your problem requires urgent attention. If you are acutely ill, you will always be seen on that day, but not necessarily by the doctor of your choice. When all the appointments for the day have gone we will offer you a telephone consultation with the doctor at the end of their surgery. You will be asked for a landline number for the docotr to return your call.If you only have a mobile you will be told what time to call back.
